New Progress in Certificate Mathematics Conventional Questions 1 and 2 are written in accordance with the latest HKCE Mathematics Examination Syllabus issued by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority. The examination of the new syllabus will commence in 2006.
The main aim of the books is to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills for the HKCE Mathematics Examination. There are altogether 16 chapters in the two books. Each chapter consists of three sections: Review, Demonstration and Practice.
Review summarizes the basic knowledge, main points, formulas and theorems of each chapter, with supplementary information provided through Reminders. Students can construct a framework of knowledge and concept through the well-organized and comprehensive revision notes.
Demonstration illustrates the various types of questions that are similar to the HKCEE quesions. Detailed solutions with Guidelines are provided.
Practice provides a wide variety of exam-oriented questions with solutions. Hints are given to help students understand and solve the problems
